Boxing

On Monday we went to the hall for boxing.
We had a couch and her name was Pax.
She was our couch for boxing and she also told us the rules respect,discipline and safety.
We learnt how to jab,cross,left hook,right hook,uppercuts,movement and combos.
My favourite part was the combos.

P.W.C was our visiter for our school.

We had a sheet with 8 question and we had to fill the sheet before they came in, so after that we handed them in and had to wait till monday.

They came in and told us there names Richard and Anibell.

They were a company and they were talking about money,saving,identity,insurance,identity theft.

After the talk we got 4 booklets and 4 cardboard cards to write on,so when we wrote on the cards and wrote in the booklets and when we finished all of it we got to have the so we took it home.

gas trap

On Thursday, it was science and we got a paper that was called gas trap there was a place to cut so I cut it. 

We got ot water in our cup and we waited for about 2 minutes and we saw stem on the glass sides and the we got a lid than closed it and we wrote what we saw inside.

So cut part it had words and suppose to hold it on the other side and try to read it. So after the experiment we had a talk and we were talking about water vapour, so after the talk we were done.

Day and night

Why do we have night and day?
We have day and night because the earth’s rotation.

 Firstly, the northern hemisphere faces the sun that’s Day and the southern hemisphere faces to space that’s Night.In addition the earth is spinning on its axis, the axis is a imaginary line from the north pole to the south pole.

Secondly, the earth takes 365 days to make a revolution that makes a year.

 Lastly, the sun makes day because its a star.

 That’s why we have day and night.

Puzzle piece By Michael

Firstly, I was given a 1\20 puzzle piece.We didn’t know what it would look like When it’s finished.So then we got an enlarger white paper.We were told to get crayons and remake the 1/20 puzzle piece on the enlarger paper.

 Secondly, we took the colors we needed for coloring the enlarger paper.Furthermore i colored it and it was hard.my teacher helped me and i did it.

 Lastly, I had fun and enjoyed it.Other people did earth of a ¼ or quarter.

Walking water

Firstly Ms Bracey was setting up a experiment for science last week.She put 7 cups into a line and filled up 1,3,5 and 7 with water and added food colouring the primary colours and Left 2,4 and 6 empty and than put in paper towel strips.The primary colours are red,yellow and blue and in Tongan kulakula mo engeenge .We worked in buddies and she gave us an observation sheet. Secondly we were asked to predict what will happen with the experiment.My prediction was the colors were going to mix and become secondary colors.My buddy had the same idea. Lastly, we waited for 3 days and our idea was right,so we were told to observe to write what we saw and we did.

Set Serve and Spike

WALT: To explain and use specific vocabulary.
Volleyball
At Volleyball  you learn volleyball skills to play.

Firstly, at volleyball you will learn how to serve,ready position and how to get the ball over the net.

In addition You’re not allowed to hit the volleyball too high or else it would make other players injured and it might go out of bounds.

In conclusion volleyball skills are important skills to play a real game.

At school we got into our groups.We had a math problem to solve.There were lots of words.It was about time,hours and minutes.We worked out the answers and we had to write our strategy on the whiteboard.We explained our strategy.We got some question from the other groups.
My challenge was to work with a difficult group.

Being in a globe

  Challenge: This time I added simile was to repeat this exclamation mark.

Secondly in the planetarium there are comfortable chairs. The planetarium is like being in a globe. You could see a,3D movie with robots in it,constellations, the southern cross,sunrise,planets and compass points.

Firstly Stardome is a place to learn facts about the Solar System.In the Corridor there are facts about ,Matariki,biggest telescope,how does night and day work,comets,planets and what solar means.
